Further details of the agreement are attached herewith as Annexure II Annexure II Date: 7 September 2026 Axtel Industries and FSID, IISc Enter into Technology Licensing Agreement for Advanced Cryogenic Grinding Technology Vadodara / Bengaluru, India – 2026 Axtel Industries Limited (“Axtel”) and the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development (FSID), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru are pleased to announce that they have entered into a Technology Transfer agreement for the commercialization, by Axtel on an exclusive basis, of an advanced High-Performance Grinding Technology incorporating a Counter-Rotating Pin Mill and Cryogenic Conveying System. Under this agreement, FSID will also transfer to Axtel the prototype of this system to permit accelerated commercialization by Axtel. FSID–IISc designed and manufactured entire machinery and plant indigenously under Phase II of the Capital Goods Scheme of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. The scheme aims to develop indigenous technologies that reduce import dependence and can subsequently be commercialized in partnership with Indian companies. Commenting on this development, Mr. Ajay Desai, Executive Director of Axtel said that this unique cryogenic grinding technology, currently not available with Indian companies, will permit the manufacture of powders of polymers, rubbers, resins and other natural materials to fine sizes which cannot be achieved by conventional technologies. Mr. Ajay Parikh, Executive Director of Axtel said that making such equipment in India will significantly reduce India’s dependence of importation of these very high-cost machines, as also the importation of such powders which will result in substantial savings in foreign exchange.
