Sub: Disclosure under Regulation 30 read with Clause 8 of Para B of Part A of Schedule III
of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 -
Update on ongoing litigation
Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you that in furtherance to our initial disclosure dated August
14, 2023, and subsequent updates provided in our Integrated Governance Reports regarding ongoing
tax litigations and disputes concerning the dispute listed at Sr. No. 10 of Annexure 1 of the
aforementioned disclosure pertaining to an Excise Duty demand of Rs. 11.53 Crores (including a
penalty of Rs. 6.04 Crores) raised by the Commissioner, Central Excise & Service Tax, Jabalpur,
against the Company and its ex-employee, the Hon’ble Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate
Tribunal (CESTAT), New Delhi, has set aside the Excise Duty demand and penalty imposed on the
Company and its ex-employee in the entirety while disposing the appeals filed by the Company in
this regard.
As communicated by our lawyers vide an email dated September 7, 2026, the operative part of the
Order was pronounced in the open Court on September 7, 2026. The written order is expected to be
uploaded on the CESTAT website in due course.
Details required under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR read with SEBI Master Circular No.
HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026 are provided in the enclosed
Annexure.
