Rajan TX has been a seasoned finance professional with over 34 years of service with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and had retired from RBI as Chief General Manager in-charge of Supervision of banking sector. He was also the Chief General (cid:9) Manager, (cid:9) Cyber (cid:9) and (cid:9) IT (cid:9) Risk (cid:9) Group, Department of Supervision of RBI and was involved in setting up the unit responsible for regulation and supervision of cyber and IT risks in the banking sector, introduction of major regulations for the sector in cyber and IT risk areas, rolling (cid:9) out (cid:9) of (cid:9) various (cid:9) supervisory (cid:9) tools (cid:9) viz., (cid:9) IT Examinations, (cid:9) off-site (cid:9) assessment (cid:9) framework, (cid:9) incident reporting, cyber reconnaissance, automation of supervisory processes in RBI through introduction of DAKSH (a Web based application bringing the RBI and the supervised entities on a single platform).
