Report on the Audit of the Standalone Financial Results
Opinion
1, We have audited the accompanying Standalone Financial Results of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited ("the
Bank")forthe quarter andyear ended March 31,2026, the Standalone Statement ofAssets andLiabilities as
onthatdate andtheStandalone Statement ofCashFlowsfortheyear endedonthatdate, which areincluded
in the accompanying 'Standalone Financial Results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026 (the
"Standalone Financial Results"), being submitted bythe Bank pursuant to the requirement of Regulation 33
and Regulation 52readwith Regulation 63(2) ofthe SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015, as amended (the "Listing Regulations"), except for the disclosures related to Pillar 3
disclosures asatMarch31,2026, including Leverage Ratio, Liquidity Coverage RatioandNetStable Funding
Ratio(NSFR) under Basel IIICapital Regulations issued byReserve Bankof Indiaasdisclosed onthe Bank's
website and inrespect of which a link has been provided inthe aforesaid Statement (Note No,9) and which
have notbeenaudited byus,
The Statement includes returnsforthe year ended onthat date of:
a)the HeadOffice, 2Zonal offices, IBRDepartment and 84branches audited byus;and
b)956 branches/offices audited bythe respective statutory branch auditors,
The appointment inrespectof branches audited byusandthose audited byother auditors was made bythe
Comptroller andAuditor General of India,
2, Inouropinion andtothe bestofour information andaccording totheexplanations given tous,the Standalone
Financial Results:
(i) arepresented inaccordance withthe requirements of Regulation 33andRegulation 52readwith Regulation
63(2)oftheListingRegulations exceptforthedisclosures relatingtoPillar3disclosures asatMarch31,2026
including Leverage Ratio, Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) under Basel III
Capital Regulation as have been disclosed on the Bank's website and in respect of which a link has been
provided inthe aforesaid Statement (Note no.s) andwhich have notbeenaudited byus;and
(ii) give a true and fair view in conformity with the recognition and measurement principles laid down in the rl
applicable accounting standards prescribed under Section 133of the Companies Act, 2013 (the"Act") read
with relevant rules issued thereunder, the relevant provisions of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, the
circulars, guidelines and directions issued by the Reserve Bank of India ('RBI') from time to time ("RBI
Guidelines") and other accounting principles generally accepted in India, of the net profit and other financial
information for the quarter and year ended March 31,2026.
Basis for Opinion
3. Weconducted ouraudit inaccordance with the Standards onAuditing (SAs) specified under Section 143(10)
oftheActandotherapplicable authoritative pronouncements issued bythe InstituteofCharteredAccountants
of India ("ICAI"). Our responsibilities under those Standards are further described in the 'Auditor's
Responsibilities fortheAuditofthe Standalone Financial Results'sectionofourreport.Weareindependent of
the Bank inaccordance withthe CodeofEthics issued bythe ICAItogether with theethical requirements that
are relevant to our audit of the Standalone Financial Results under the provisions of the Act and the Rules
thereunder, andwe havefulfilled ourother ethical responsibilities inaccordance withthese requirements and
theCodeofEthics.Webelievethattheauditevidence wehaveobtained issufficient andappropriate toprovide
abasisforouropinion.
Emphasis of Matter
4. Wedraw attentionto:
a) Notes no. 25(a) and25(b) regardingthe Bank's investment ofRs.345.92crores initsassociate, Jammu
& Kashmir Grameen Bank, pursuant to amalgamation, and the provision for impairment of Rs. 228.65
crores recognised based on valuation by an independent registered valuer in accordance with RBI
Directions, 2025.
b) Note no. 34 regarding transfer of Rs. 23.94 Crores from General Reserve to Statutory Reserve
consequent tothefinal comments ofthe Comptroller &Auditor Generalof India(C&AG)forthefinancial
year ended March 31, 2025, to take care of the prior period appropriation of Rs. 95.76 crore from
Revaluation ReservetoGeneral Reserve pertainingtothefinancial years2017-18 to2022-23.
c) Note no. 36 regarding recovery ofthe prior period interest paidtothe beneficiaries underthe Ladli Beti
Schemeonavaluedated basisbycorresponding debittotheInterestexpenseandbookingofthebalance
amount ofRs.46.08 crores againstthisexpense asRecoverable from Government.
d) Note no. 39 relating to recognition of Deferred Tax Asset (DTA) on the excess provision for bad and
doubtful debts created over and above the limit prescribed under section36(1)(viia) of the Income Tax
Act, 1961basedonthe presumption thatinfuture thewrite-off ofbadanddoubtful debtswillbeadjusted
against suchprovision inaccordance withSection36(2)(v) readwithSection 36(1)(vii)ofthe IncomeTax
Act, 1961.
Ourconclusion isnotmodified inrespectofthese matters.
Board of Directors' Responsibilities for the Standalone Financial Results
5. These Standalone Financial Results have been compiled from the audited annual standalone financial
statements. The Bank's Board of Directors are responsible for the preparation ofthese Standalone Financial
Resultsthatgiveatrueandfairviewofthenetprofitandotherfinancial information, theStandalone Statement
ofAssets and Liabilities andthe Standalone Statement of Cashflows inaccordance with the recognition and
measurement principles laiddown inAccounting Standards prescribed underSection 133oftheAct readwith
relevant rules issued thereunder, the RBI Guidelines and other accounting principles generally accepted in
India and in compliance with Regulation 33 and Regulation 52 read with Regulation 63(2) of the Listing
Regulations. Thisresponsibility alsoincludes maintenance ofadequate accounting records inaccordance with
theprovisionsoftheBankingRegulationAct, 1949forsafeguarding oftheassetsoftheBankandforpr
