Based on the recommendation of the Nomination appointment, re-appointment, and Remuneration Committee, the Board of resignation, removal, death or Directors has approved the appointment of otherwise Mr. Amit Deshpande as the General Counsel, forming part of the Senior Management Personnel of the Company. 2. Brief Profile Mr. Amit Deshpande is a commerce graduate from Symbiosis and a law graduate from ILS Law College, Pune. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS). He has over 24 years of experience in Company Law, SEBI Regulations, Arbitrations, Statutory Compliances, Mergers and Acquisitions, Intellectual Property, Ethics and Code of Conduct, Contract Management, FEMA and Legal Due Diligences. He was previously associated with LegaLogic Consulting as Partner M&A and Capital Markets. Prior to this, Amit served for nearly 15 years as General Counsel & Company Secretary at Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), a Vedanta Group company. As a key member of the leadership team, he played a central role in shaping the company’s strategic transformation through mergers, demergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising initiatives. He was instrumental in strengthening governance architecture, enhancing board processes, managing enterprise risk, and navigating complex regulatory and litigation landscapes.
