The decline reflects the ongoing ra(cid:415)onaliza(cid:415)on of loss-making trade lanes, a deliberate trade-off that has driven a corresponding improvement in yields.  We expect peak season demand to remain resilient, which coupled with constrained capacity will keep the freight rates elevated in the near term.  On a year-on-year basis volume declined across all major regions. On a month-on-month basis volume declined across Europe, North Asia and Indian Subcon(cid:415)nent and remained flat across North America, Middle East and La(cid:415)n America. A part of the volume decline over last year is on account of the crisis in the Middle East.  On a year-on-year basis volume declined across Middle East, North America and Indian Subcontinent, an increase in volume was witnessed across North Asia and Latin America. On a month-on-month basis volume increased across Indian Subcontinent, North Asia and North America and declined across Latin America, Middle East and Europe.
