operational capacity with the launch of its new plant at Goa. The new facility is
aimed at strengthening the Company’s production capabilities, improving
operational efficiency and supporting the growing demand from its Marine and
Industrial business segments.
The Goa plant marks an important step in the Company’s capacity expansion
strategy and is expected to enhance its ability to execute larger and more
complex projects while supporting its long-term growth plans.

Press Release Summary – Capacity Expansion and New Plant at Goa
Marine Electricals (India) Limited has inaugurated its sixth manufacturing facility in
Goa with a combined floor space of Approx 160000 sq.ft. The facility started its
operation on 14th September 2026 and will exclusively focus on manufacturing of
PTU’s ( Power Train Units ) for Data Centers and Shore Conversion Systems for Ports,
further strengthening the Company’s capabilities in critical power distribution and
marine infrastructure solutions.
This new facility commenced production earlier this month and is expected to achieve
its full manufacturing capacity of approximately 800 PTU’s for Data Centers per year
by March 2027. The existing fully operational five units in Goa and one unit in
Vadodara will continue to manufacture LV/MV switchboards and busducts.
The new facility in Goa will also generate employment opportunities in the region, with
roles across production, engineering, logistics, quality assurance and other operational
functions.
