September 18, 2026 To, To, BSE Limited National Stock Exchange of India Limited Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers, Exchange Plaza, C-1 Block G, Dalal Street, Fort, Bandra - Kurla Complex, Bandra (East) Mumbai-400001 Mumbai - 400051 Scrip Code: 544532 Symbol: SOLARWORLD Dear Sir/Ma’am Sub: Disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“Listing Regulations”), we hereby inform you that the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Znshine Solarworld Private Limited (“Subsidiary”), has received a Show Cause Notice dated September 17, 2026 from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, State Tax, Mobile Squad, Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, under Section 129 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, read with Section 20 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the rules made thereunder. The notice relates to a consignment vehicle intercepted at Roorkee, Uttarakhand, for verification of documents and proposes a penalty of ₹1,22,12,498, being 200% of the tax payable under Section 129(1)(a) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The aforesaid notice is at the show cause stage, and no order, demand or penalty has been confirmed against the Subsidiary. The Subsidiary was provided an opportunity to submit a written reply along with supporting documents substantiating compliance with the applicable e-way bill and transportation documentation requirements. In response to the Show Cause Notice, the Subsidiary submitted a detailed written reply on September 18, 2026, explaining that the vehicle particulars had been duly updated prior to interception. The Subsidiary has further substantiated its position through relevant Customs, Container Freight Station (“CFS”), transporter and E-Way Bill records, demonstrating that the goods correspond fully with the underlying Bill of Entry. The Subsidiary has also relied upon CBIC Circular No. 64/38/2018-GST and applicable judicial precedents in support of its submissions. Accordingly, the Subsidiary has requested that the proposed penalty proceedings be dropped and that the detained goods and conveyance be released. A personal hearing before the Proper Officer is scheduled for September 24, 2026, pursuant to which the Subsidiary will present its submissions and supporting documents. As the matter is presently at the show cause stage and is being contested by the Subsidiary, the proposed penalty does not constitute a confirmed or crystallised liability. Based on the facts and circumstances presently available, the matter is not expected to have any material impact on the financial, operational or other activities of the Company. Details of the violation(s)/ The notice alleges prima facie non-compliance with the provisions of Section 68 and Section 31 contravention(s) committed or alleged of the CGST Act, 2017 and Rules 138, 138A, 46 to be committed and 55 of the CGST Rules, 2017, primarily in relation to: (a) Vehicle mismatch- Discrepancy between the vehicle intercepted by the Authorities and the vehicle particulars reflected in the E- Way Bill and subsequent updation of vehicle particulars in the E-Way Bill; (b) Multi-vehicle procedure not followed - A single E-Way Bill was issued for two containers, but the goods were moved on separate vehicles without following the prescribed multiple-vehicle movement procedure under Rule 138.; (c) Dispatch location mismatch - Discrepancy between the dispatch location declared in the E-Way Bill and the dispatch location reflected in the Customs documents. 5.
