Digital Twin will give JNPA a single, real-time operational view of its Seaside, Landside and Road-traffic operations across the entire ~34 sq km port, enabling a smart and intelligent decision support system for the Authority. First port-sector win for SoftTech — secured on the strength of its AECO sector expertise built over three decades KEY HIGHLIGHTS • Project value: Rs. 92.95 crores from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s largest container port. • Scope: AI/ML-enabled, cyber-aware Active Digital Twin and 24×7 Command & Control Centre for operational efficiency covering the entire ~34 sq km port • Strategic significance: SoftTech’s breakthrough entry in the port and maritime sector, unlocking a scalable market opportunity for digital transformation in Infrastructure and Transport industry Partnership: SoftTech is spearheading this opportunity leveraging globally recognized 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dassault Systèmes Anticipated outcomes for JNPA The Digital Twin is designed to deliver measurable improvements: faster vessel turnaround and just-in-time arrivals on the seaside; a shared data platform across all five terminal operators, customs and rail that cuts cargo and container turnaround times on the land side; and shorter gate queues, decongested approach roads and end-to-end vehicle tracking on the road network — advancing JNPA’s objectives of operational efficiency, sustainability, decarbonization, and safety and security. The platform is secure by design and built to scale as JNPA grows towards 10 million TEU capacity by 2027.
