Tel: +91-257-2258011; Fax: +91-257-2258111; E-mail: jisl@jains.com; Visit us at: www.jains.com CIN: L29120MH1986PLC042028 PRESS RELEASE JAIN IRRIGATION SECURES ₹117.96 CRORE EMPANELMENT FROM MSEDCL FOR 5,000 SOLAR PUMPS Jalgaon, Maharashtra | September 17, 2026: Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has secured a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 5,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across Maharashtra. Valued at ₹117.96 crore, inclusive of GST, the empanelment has been awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, a Maharashtra Government initiative aimed at promoting solar- powered irrigation solutions for farmers. Under the empanelment, Jain Irrigation will undertake the complete scope of work, including the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of agricultural solar pumping systems of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacities. The project is scheduled to be completed within 60 days. The latest empanelment further strengthens Jain Irrigation’s longstanding association with MSEDCL in Maharashtra’s solar irrigation sector. Jain Irrigation has been working with MSEDCL since 2015, beginning with the Atal Solar Pump Project, under which the Company completed the supply and installation of 5,039 solar pumps across Maharashtra. Subsequently, during 2019–20, the Company completed another 1,539 pumps under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana. More recently, under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, which commenced in December 2024, Jain Irrigation has successfully completed the supply and installation of 12,457 pumps, with a total project value of ₹307.62 crore, according to the Company. With the addition of 5,000 more solar pumps under the latest empanelment, Jain Irrigation continues to expand its presence in Maharashtra’s solar-powered agricultural irrigation infrastructure. The Company’s cumulative execution across these projects reflects its experience in the supply, installation and commissioning of solar pumping systems for agricultural applications.
