The ESG score improved primarily due to improved Environmental and Governance ■ 2025 ■ 2026
performance, while Social performance remained broadly stable. Environmental
pillar improved due to lower non-renewable energy consumption and Scope 1 and
Scope 2 emissions, increased renewable energy usage, and approximately 93%
waste recovery. However, the score was moderated by increased Scope 3

emissions and waste intensity remaining above the industry benchmark.
Social pillar remained constrained by non-coverage of 87% of the workforce for skill
development and Health & Safety training, a material gender pay gap, limited
disclosure on benefits for non-permanent employees, two sexual harassment Environment Social Governance
complaints, and over one lakh customer complaints. These concerns were partly
