The Company has recently obtained the requisite Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licence for manufacturing Fe500D, FeSSO and Fe550D grade Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) Bars, thereby further strengthening its product portfolio. Entry into CRS TMT Bars -A New Growth Opportunity · As part of its strategy to diversify its product portfolio and tap new market opportunities, the Company has identified an opportunity to explore the manufacturing of Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRS) TMT Bars, a specialised value-added product designed to provide enhanced resistance to corrosion. CRS TMT Bars are particularly suitable for applications exposed to coastal, marine and other corrosive environments, including infrastructure and construction projects where enhanced durability and longer service life are important considerations.
