c. A brief on types of customers:
F edfina is a retail-focused Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) serving Emerging Self-Employed Individuals
(ESEIs) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), segments that often face limited access to formal
financial services due to informal income profiles, inadequate credit history, or the absence of conventional
income documentation. Through its integrated “Phygital” operating model, which combines an extensive branch
network with digital capabilities, the Company delivers accessible and customer-centric financial solutions
across semi-urban, urban and metropolitan markets, with a significant presence in Southern and Western India.
A s on 31st March, 2026, Fedfina operated 757 branches across 17 States and Union Territories with an Assets
Under Management (AUM) of approximately ` 20,153 Crores. The Company’s retail lending portfolio primarily
comprises secured lending products designed to address the diverse financing requirements of individuals,
households and small businesses.
G old Loans constitute the largest segment of the Company’s portfolio, representing approximately 51% of the
lending portfolio. These loans primarily serve self-employed individuals, small business owners, traders, farmers,
salaried individuals and households seeking short-term liquidity for business or personal requirements. By
enabling timely access to formal credit against pledged household gold jewellery, the product supports financial
resilience while reducing dependence on informal sources of finance.
S mall Ticket Loans Against Property (LAP) are offered to self-employed individuals, proprietors, traders
and professionals who own residential or commercial property but may not possess the formal income
documentation generally required by conventional lenders. These loans facilitate access to credit for business
expansion, asset creation, working capital requirements and debt consolidation, thereby supporting financial
inclusion among underserved customer segments.
M edium Ticket Loans Against Property (LAP) cater to relatively established self-employed individuals and small
businesses operating across manufacturing, trading and service sectors with verifiable income streams and
credit history. These products support long-term business growth, capital expenditure and enterprise expansion
while maintaining prudent underwriting and responsible lending practices.
A ffordable Housing Loans are designed to promote home ownership among individuals and families with
stable but informally documented incomes, including self-employed individuals, daily wage earners and small
traders. By recognising alternate income assessment mechanisms, the Company seeks to improve access to
formal housing finance for customers who may otherwise remain underserved by traditional housing finance
institutions.
T he Company had also extended Unsecured Business Loans to eligible MSMEs requiring short-term working
capital. In line with its strategic focus under Fedfina 2.0, this portfolio is being gradually phased down as the
Company transitions towards a predominantly secured lending portfolio.
A cross our product offerings, we serve customers who are typically underserved by conventional banking
channels while maintaining robust credit appraisal and risk management processes. By expanding access to
responsible and formal credit, Fedfina strives to contribute towards financial inclusion, supports entrepreneurship
and micro-enterprise development, facilitates asset creation, and strengthens the financial resilience of
individuals, households and small businesses.
