Our strong foundation
At the core of Kitex, lies a deep commitment
to enhancing lives through compassion.
Shri. M.C. Jacob
(22.04.1933 – 05.06.2011)
Our founder, M.C. Jacob, instilled the principle of ‘caring’ into our work ethos. Over time, this principle
has reinforced our business focus, empowered our people and helped to uplift communities.
In 1968, moved by the hardships faced by farmers working in his father’s fields, Mr. Meckamkunnel
Chacko Jacob established an Aluminium unit with only eight employees, marking the beginning of
a transformation of a remote village, Kizhakkambalam, in Kerala. This little-known village today is a
living example of a thriving industrial centre. His legacy was carried forward with the expansion of
the Anna-Kitex group as it became a successful conglomerate, encompassing diverse businesses
including Aluminium, Spices, Textiles and Apparels.
Going beyond business success, we continue our pursuit of excellence by reiterating our promise
of reshaping communities through compassionate action. It is this spirit that drives us to engage in
initiatives which provide employment opportunities and nurture the aspirations of numerous people,
to truly make a difference to lives.

Strength
to scale
A garment takes shape one thread
at a time. So does a business of
scale. Over three decades, we have
woven together manufacturing
expertise, customer understanding
and operational discipline to
create a stronger platform for the
opportunities ahead.
FY 2025-26 put that strength into action. As markets shifted and
uncertainties tested the apparel industry, we responded with decisive
action, keeping our focus on strengthening the capacity that would
shape our next phase. Rather than allowing near term challenges to
define our trajectory, we invested in what lies beyond them.
That conviction is now taking form in Warangal Telangana. As the
facility nears completion and Commercial production commenced,
a new chapter is coming into view, bringing greater manufacturing
capacity and strengthening our ability to serve global demand. It
marks more than an expansion of our footprint. It represents the point
where years of experience, manufacturing expertise and resilience
begin to translate into a larger platform for growth.
Strength to Scale captures this transition. It is about turning
the strength built through experience into the capacity to move
further, serve wider markets and deepen our position in infantwear
manufacturing. As we step into this new phase, we are building from
a foundation tested by change and shaped by action, with the scale to
turn resilience into lasting leadership.

From Knitwear
Expertise to Global
Apparel Capability
Corporate Overview Statutory Reports Financial Statements
Founded in 1992, we have built our
business on a deep understanding
of knitwear manufacturing and the
evolving requirements of international
apparel markets. Based in
Kizhakkambalam, Kerala, we operate
as a fully export-oriented enterprise
with an integrated yarn-to-garment
model, giving us control over critical
stages of production and enabling us
to deliver with consistency.
Our experience in infant and children’s apparel forms the
foundation of our business, while our capabilities now
extend across men’s, women’s and unisex categories. We
work with leading international customers in the USA and
Europe, bringing together product knowledge, manufacturing
expertise and disciplined execution to address diverse
market requirements.
Built for Scale. Designed for Responsibility.
Our operations bring together scale, integration and
responsible manufacturing. Modern machinery, specialised
production capabilities and established processes connect key
stages of the value chain, creating an efficient manufacturing
platform. Our listing on the BSE in 1995 marked an important
milestone in our evolution as a listed company reflects the
journey we have undertaken since our early years.
Expanding the Canvas
As we broaden our manufacturing footprint and product
portfolio, we are shaping a more diversified apparel business
with the capabilities, scale and operating discipline to serve
global markets. Our focus is on strengthening what we have
built while creating new avenues for growth and greater value
for our stakeholders.
