This rating is based on the Company’s public disclosure on the ESG parameters at the standalone level and other information in the public domain. The ESG pillars for the Company reflect continued progress across key performance areas. The Environmental score is supported by year on year reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy intensity, reduced carbon emissions and higher waste recycling & recovery. The Social score is driven by strong workplace safety performance, zero employee fatalities, comprehensive health insurance coverage for permanent employees, improved gender diversity, and CSR spending that exceeds regulatory requirements. The Governance score is supported by a well-structured Board and Committees framework with strong Independent Director representation, compliance with Board diversity requirements, separation of the Chairperson and CEO roles, and established anti-corruption and ESG policies.
