Inaugurates New 400 Beds Tower at Max Smart Super Speciality
Hospital, Saket
New Delhi, September 03, 2026: Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, today marked a
significant milestone in its journey of advancing tertiary and quaternary healthcare in the National
Capital Region with the inauguration of its new 400 beds tower by Hon’ble Union Home Minister
and Minsiter of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah. The state-of-the-art tower will enhance the hospital’s
capacity to deliver advanced, technology-enabled care to patients across Delhi-NCR and beyond,
meeting the growing demand for specialised healthcare.
The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, as Guest of Honour.
Hon'ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology, Delhi
Government, Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, South Delhi, Shri Ramvir
Singh Bidhuri also attended the event.
With this expansion, Max Hospital, Saket will have a total capacity of approximately 1,200 beds,
making it the largest private hospital in Delhi by bed capacity. The hospital brings together
comprehensive tertiary and quaternary healthcare capabilities across 22+ specialties, strengthening
access to advanced and specialised medical care in the National Capital.
Max Saket is a key pillar of Max Healthcare’s integrated healthcare and medical education ecosystem,
backed by 42,000+ employees. As part of its commitment to accessible healthcare, Max Healthcare
provided free treatment worth ₹244 crore to 3.60 lakh patients last year. Through the Max Institute
of Medical Sciences, the organisation has also supported 1.62 lakh students to date through higher
education, training and professional learning programmes. In the last financial year, Max Healthcare
treated over 40 lakh patients from 800+ cities and 180+ countries, including those seeking specialised
and advanced medical care.

The new facility is equipped with advanced medical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical
Robot and Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot, supporting precision-driven, minimally invasive

With this expansion, Max Healthcare continues to strengthen its healthcare infrastructure in Delhi-
NCR, with a focus on delivering advanced clinical care, improving access to specialised treatment and
creating an integrated ecosystem for specialised medical care for people from India and across the
