As per the earlier order passed by the Assessing Officer, the reduction in MAT credit was Rs. 28.9 3 crores. The favourable effect of the deletions made pursuant to the order of CIT(A)-47 has resulted in a reduction in the tax liability by Rs. 11.99 crores. The above relief has had a commensurate effect, resulting in a reduction in the contingent liability of the Company by Rs. 11.99 crores. Impact on financial, operation or other The Company, in consultation with its tax activities of the listed entity, quantifiable expert, is of the opinion that the balance in monetary terms to the extent possible additions made by the Assessing officer sustained by the CIT(A) -47 are also not tenable in law.
