A Clinician by training, he transitioned into Healthcare IT with an MSc from City University London and an Executive Management Program from IIM Calcutta - a rare combination that gives him Clinical credibility, Technology skills and expertise and business acumen. He has held Group CIO/CTO roles at 3 prominent Indian hospital groups — KIMS Hospitals, Rainbow Children's Medicare (both publicly listed) and latest being Maxivision Eye Hospitals where he lead digital transformation across 70+ ophthalmology centres. His track record spans HIS/EMR implementations, SAP ERP integrations, AI-driven CRM systems, cybersecurity infrastructure (Palo Alto, SOC/NOC), patient-facing mobile apps, and enterprise analytics platforms. Beyond execution, Dr. Naresh is a recognized thought leader - a published author, Past Chair of HL7 India, Past President of the Indian Association for Medical Informatics, and a HIMSS APAC member.
