INDUSTRY LANDSCAPE
The global home textiles and terry towel industry continues to be
shaped by shifting trade dynamics, rising cotton and energy costs,
evolving sustainability regulations in key export markets (EU, US), and
increasing buyer preference for certified, traceable manufacturing.
India remains among the top global exporters of terry towels and
bath linen, competing chiefly with China, Pakistan, Turkey and
Bangladesh on cost, quality and compliance.

Any notable operational disruptions or resolutions (e.g., power, labour,
logistics)
