Kashiho Sangtam Non-Official (Independent) Director Shri V. Kashiho Sangtam is a retired (voluntary) officer of ‘Nagaland Public Service Commission’ (NPSC). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts with Major in Political Science, History, Economics and English from Fazl Ali College, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Mokokchung, Nagaland in the year 1983. He brings rich & vivid experience of over three decades of administrative and public governance from Nagaland's State Civil Services, having served as Block Development Officer (BDO), Assistant Director, Rural Development, Government of Nagaland (1988– 2018) and has served as Minister for Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining and Chairman NSMDC (Nagaland State Minerals Development Corporation) from 2018 to 2023. His areas of professional expertise include Bureaucrat, public administration, general management, human resource development and project management, gained through sustained engagement with rural development and legislative functions of the Government of Nagaland.
